Orofino, Idaho – As of Friday at 4:00 pm PT, two main and just one secondary home, together with 12 outbuildings had been missing to the Bedrock Fire.  A single other primary home obtained weakened.  Do the job to inventory misplaced and weakened structures carries on as the incident grows.  As of 1:00 am this early morning, an infrared survey of the hearth identified it expanded to 9,005 acres.

“We’re working to secure far more resources to combat this fireplace, but crews and aircraft are in short supply across the total country,” mentioned Bedrock Fire Incident Commander Josh Harvey.  “If the weather conditions forecast retains and the skies obvious early upcoming week as predicted, plane can attack the fire aggressively.”

Officers noted the hearth is % contained.

Yesterday, at minimum 4 structural engines and crew users staffed the night time shift to shield residences.  Also, all 12 wildland engines and crews from yesterday’s working day shift invested the evening on the hearth, doing work until at least midnight to secure buildings.

“Any reduction of assets to a wildfire is tragic,” concluded Harvey.  “We’re keeping people who dropped their properties, or evacuated, in our ideas and prayers.”
